Poor (worn shabby green cloth frayed edges of front board, scribble on back board, tipped-on plate on front cover is faded and worn, heavily cracked back hinge still firmly attached at the top half by tape, there is crayon/pen/pencil scribble over endpapers and the blank backs of pages, and several grubby marks, the front free endpaper is missing and it would appear that the first page ?plate is also missing, however the binding remains surprisingly tight) octavo 45pp b/w plates. An unusual item, 45pp halftone illustrations with different rhyming captions on two sides, the book can be turned sideways to see a different picture. The reverse of these pages is unprinted.
