Illustrated "Night Before" is in reasonably decent but WORN condition. Original light blue cloth with pictorial paper title panel with illustration by Gremin mounted to the cover board. Enright illustrated color endpages. Rear endpages split in the joint; front endpage tender with partial split. Cloth shows silverfish predation to the starch sizing with color fade and thread baring along spine and a swath of combined silverfishing and soiling to the rear board. Contents clean but with some thumbing and reader wear. Uncommon early copy of the edition illustrated by Neill includes a 2nd part _ "Mother Goose Rhymes and Jingles" at rear. Worn and a bit tired so good only at best, Book size about 5 by 7 inches with 57 numbered pages. 1932 Christmas prize FORMER OWNER inscription penned neatly to front endpage. ; a small Christmas label attached to the front endpage.
