This As New condition, limited edition (Number 1241 of 2800 copies) facsimile is covered with dark brown leather tips and spine, highlighted with gold leaf on caramel brown covers. Comes with matching box, which is in Very Fine condition. Contains extensive, full-color reproductions of Bell's engravings of the arteries of the human body. The plates for this printing were made from the original manuscript, which is in the possession of the National Library of Medicine. It is printed on a fine rag, and includes folded pages to accommodate larger figures. Separate enclosed booklet contains Bell's story, as written by Colonel Harold Wellington Jones, M.D., F.A.C.S.
