Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. George Pollard (illustrator). 1st Edition. Bound in blue with pink spine lettering and clown with drum on front cover, this 1955 circus story is in very good condition. The unclipped dust jacket ($2.50) is good---near fine front and back covers, but the spine is very faded and has what looks like a bit of silver fish damage in two spots, now in protective cover. The book is unmarked, bright and tight with charming black and white illustrations by George Pollard at the beginning of each chapter. The end papers have age discoloration.
