Condition: Good. First Edition, hardcover. 487 pages. Good plus, light soiling & wear on covers but overall externally quite nice; glue and paper residue on endpapers where the previous owner had pasted in a bookplate and tipped in some London emphemera (now removed); front hinge very neatly cracked but book is holding firm; small bookstore-label on rear endpaper; scattered light foxing (browning/spotting) on pages. Overall a rather nice copy. With 20 photographic plates. Charmian was the second wife of Jack London. Additional photo(s) available upon request.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Green cloth with photos. Tips of corners show light wear, faint sunning to spine. otherwise book is excellent, very clean and very sharp, with a solid binding and clean pages.

Printed on the occasion of Jack London's One Hundredth Birthday Anniversary.

Hardcover. New and Revised Edition. Very good+ in smooth blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt text stamped on the spine and dark blue text stamped on the front board. A small octavo of 8 3/4 by 5 1/4 inches with minor rubbing to the cloth at the head and heel of the spine and to the tips of the boards and with a prior owner's name, date, city and state on the front paste down. Laid-in at the front of the book is a one page letter signed and written by Charmian London saying "No Matter how I revise or change this book, still does it remain a love story, - of a great man, a lovely country & it's (sic) loving people." Dated June 1, 1922 | "Glen Ellen, California" 427 pages of text and illustrated with a frontispiece from a photograph and nine plates one of which is a color map of the Hawaiian Islands and the rest from photographs.
