No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Very Good. 3 page letter, dimensions 7 1/4 x 12 inches, dated March 28, 1817 from Northwood, New Hampshire. Ebenezer S. Coe (1785-1862) was a New Hampshire engineer, land developer, and businessman. He worked in various parts of New England. In this letter to Josiah Little of Newburyport, Massachusetts, Coe writes for a client (Mr. Bartlett) in regard to taking down a fence blocking access to Little's land. Coe states his client would rather buy Little's land ( 4 acres at $12 per acre) instead of taking down the fence. The Coe Brown Northwood Academy, founded in 1867, is named after Ebenezer Coe.
