Hardcover. Condition: Collectible; Fine. First Edition. This is a pamphlet presented to the State of South Carolina by The State Society Of The Cincinnati Of South Carolina. The pamphlet has been handsomely bound by a private binder in patterned hardback with decorative endpages. The gilt on the spine is pristine (the only flaw being that the binder left an "s" out of the authors name). The original wrappers are bound in and are Fine: with very minimal soiling for being 125 plus years. The pages are pristine with no markings, folds, or toning. There is a penned notation at the top of the front wrapper as follows: North Carolina Legislative Library presented by the South Carolina State Society Of The Cincinnati. 33 pages, with several blanks bound in behind the rear wrapper. This pamphlet contains important listings of South Carolinians who served during the Revolutionary War.
