Covers have narrow edge line design and gold hi-lited crimping type mark on cover edges. Spine is very ornate with five cordbands. Gold colored designs between bands except second from top where a paste-on black title label was; missing on this volume. Tan/pink endpapers. Silk marker ribbon and polished edges. Some small scratches and scrapes on leather. Tissue frontspiece guard. Rear of front flyleaf has number"184" in red crayon. Tight, sound and otherwise unmarked. 567 pages. We have three similar bound books by the same author. This and our #'s 00969 & 009671. I'm guessing all were a rebind for a private library. Alll have very small, printed "white.24 pall mall" at very bottom of frontflyleaf rear.Will group all three if interested. 4 1/2 X 7 1/2.
