The 84th Infantry Division landed on Omaha Beach, 1-4 November 1944. It participated in the campaigns of Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe. It saw 170 days of combat. This is a quality production with excellent art work and photographs. The folding plates and map are well executed and unusual for a WWII Divisional history; here published by Viking Press. The added material material is relevant to the 84th and the war in Germany. Nice copy with the added material. Scarce thus.
