Hardcover : (10) 342 : original maroon boards lettered in gold : staplebound errata pamphlet tipped in between "The Author" and "The Preface" : original typrewritten notes for the errata (6 foolscap pp) tipped in at f.f.e.p. Lettering on boards faded, some stains just off centre and to the tail of top board; lacking t.p.; ownership marks to f.f.e.p. and final paste down; errata underlined throughout. Possibly the editor's copy, as the printed errata align with the tipped in typed errata and the marks in the book.
Contains full records of Queensland cricket since 1857. The author was a member of the Australian Olympic team and represented Queensland in 8 cricket matches from 1920 to 1926, going on to become a state selector. 8vo. 342pp. 36 plates. Original purple cloth boards, lightly rubbed, spine sun faded. Comes complete with the errata slip. Owner's name to fly-leaf. Some old damp staining to lower edge of all pages - not affecting text, but pages are a little warped at the bottom. A good copy. [Padwick, 3507].
