Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Limited Edition. Decorative Hardcover: Bellum: Two Statements on the Nature of War. Publishing: 1972; numbered (276 of 1950) edition; Imprint Society. Illustrated. Condition & Notes: Includes "An Essay on War" by Erasmus (1545) and fifty etchings by Otto Dix (1923/24). Hardcover in near fine to fine condition; black and green cloth (large) quarto with clean boards and sharp corners; binding is square and tight; interior is pristine; maybe just a hint of a dust-spot on textblock edge, but that s me just really looking hard for a flaw. Slipcase is near fine; perhaps a bit of rubbing. A very handsome copy for the collector of illustrated volumes and/or philosophy.
