This relatively scarce first printing includes the following: 1) a brief history colonial Lynnhaven Parish, which included all of Princess Anne County ( now the city of Virginia Beach); 2) the vestry book for the colonial and immediate post-revolution years; 3) an appendix listing parish and county officials 1640-1786; and 4) an index. The book is clean and tight, with some tanning of endpapers and a hint of toning of text pages. It has been well protected by the original plain kraft paper dust jacket which iscomplete, but the jacket has hand-lettered title on the spine and aa ad for a later edition affixed to the front panel. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
