On December 20, 1924, she sailed from the Wilmington Pier in Los Angeles Harbor on board the S. S. Calawaii heading for Hawaii. She writes on the history of Hawaii, the missionaries, the King and Queen, the people, physical features, tropical growth, education and more. Photographs are included. The former owner's bookplate is on the front pastedown; otherwise, this copy is clean and solid. Appears to have had little use.
