Condition: Fair. 1907. No Edition Remarks. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Grey cloth. Contains colour illustrated plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Light thumb-marking present. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Small scuffed holes to cloth. Rubbed dark marking to surfaces. Small red marks to boards.

Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Wear marks overall.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. folio, portfolio quarterbound in cloth with paper covered boards in fair to good condition with wear and soiling. Contents are 32 tipped in plates in very good or better condition, but the stiff paper on which they are mounted is age darkened. All tissue guards are present to help protect the images. The 32 plates are divided into 4 parts I- IV and each part has several pages of text. Those pagea also age toned. The title page is very dark compared to other pages. No names or bookplates noted inside or outside. Overall, the covers are fair, but the 32 color images are very good or better and a good example of the quality of color printing of the day. Note, due to size and weight, shipping outside the USA or priority shipping may be more expensive than an average book.
