Stewart was a prominent Scottish fundamentalist evangelist who also wrote books, started a publishing company and directed the Russian Bible Society. Stewart was the first preacher from the West to go behind the Iron Curtain after World War II. In 1970 there was a fire in his home leaving dark smoke marks on some books. There is no smoke odor. Hardcover. Red publishers cloth with gilt lettering. 206 pp. Doctor James A. Stewart's initials on fly leaf. A few pages have underlining. Light foxing on edges. Very light wear on covers. While this book is a part of Dr. James A. Stewart's library, it does not have any smoke marks. Overall a very nice copy. Full refund if not satisfied.
