Full title: "An Introduction to the Knowledge Necessary for Forming A Collection of Ancient Prints by J. Maberly". Front and rear inner hinges are split and the book is shaken, all prints and pages remain intact. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There is a handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership. International shipping may require added postage charges.

The name of the publication was a reference to Brother Jonathan, a common cultural reference (at the time) to a fictional character personifying the entire United States, similar to Uncle Sam.
