Unclipped pictorial and colorful Dust Jacket shows very little scuffing or shelfwear, and shows original price of $5.95. Front has a comic book like cover with a whale and the Emerald behind; back has a period painting of the Emerald with a brief history of the ship. Signed by the author, who was the grandson of the ship's clerk, the writer of the log book reproduced here. Fantastic history of whaling, New England shipping, etc. Signed by Author(s).
