Illus by Frederic Remington, 9 x 6", nicely gilt-dec pict leather with Native American pictographs and gilt-sun publisher's binding, fairly well worn but still a strikingly attractive decorative binding.

Seller: Jeffrey H. Marks, Rare Books, ABAA, Rochester, NY, U.S.A.
First Edition
411 pp. Illustrated by Frederic Remington. 8vo, publisher's decorated full leather in dust jacket. First edition, first printing. BAL 15484. Small ink name and address to front pastedown; slight separation at gutter just before the frontispiece; moderate wear to the extremities of the spine and corners, but a bright example of this binding. The scarce jacket lacks the front flap and half of the lower 3" of the spine, and has some light chipping and creasing, and some neat internal repairs.
