Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good-. C. Le Roy Baldridge (illustrator). 72 pages beautifully illustrated by C. Le Roy Baldridge. The author and illustrator's trip to the Orient, their year in Japan, Korea and China resulted in this book. "It is neither a volume of travel essays illustrated by the author's husband nor a volume of sketches with text by the artist's wife. No two pairs of eyes can see alike in the East, no two imaginations respond alike to what the eyes report. So here are rendered in two different media, brought together because they are complementary, the imprint of the East on two different personalities." This edition De Luxe there have been printed by the aquatone process, three hundred and twenty-five copies (printed), of which this is number 41. Signed by Caoline Singer and C. Le Roy Baldridge. VERY GOOD- HARDCOVER, edges of covers are worn, internally fine. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
