Hard cover. Condition: Fair. No dust jacket. Covers are soiled, and there is a stain on the rear cover, edges are rubbed and some wear, there are 3 small holes in the rear cover at the spine valley the largest is about 3/8th inch long. some name stamps on the end paper, still tight and the text is clean and bright.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good -. No Jacket. No date circa 1900. Damp stain on front and back cover. The surface stain on back cover covers about half of cover. It does not get into book with only the top and bottom edge of rear paste down showing small stains. The stain on front cover is much small with the lower corner showing a stain and a barely discernible stain along top edge. No stains to interior pages or text block. Tissue guarded frontispiece is nice. Rear blank flyleaf with a vertical crease. 4 pages of publisher ads in back. Internally very clean and tight with no marks or inscriptions. PayPal accepted.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. *HARDBACK, no date or edition found in good condition (Circa 1915). Burgundy boards w/gilt lettering on spine. Normal edge and handling wear to boards. Front board has fading spot on lower half and spine slightly sun faded. Previous owners name on ffep "Carleton Ames" stamped and underneath is written "Carleton Ames Christmas 1915". Whether this is the father of Convicted US spy Aldrich Ames is questionable. Small pencilled pricing notations on upper right corner of ffep can be erased. Hinge slightly loose at lower spine area and ffep. 405 pages plus seven pages of a Burts Home Library list of books for purchase. Hinge is loose between the last two advertising pages, but everything is still present.
