That same inscription on the front free endpaper as well. This copy has been rebacked with new, natural buckram spine with original paper label laid down on top. A crisp and appropriate new spine. Japanese tissue repair visible at the front and rear hinges. The book now nice and tight. Small booksellers slug on inside front cover from J. Stacy, Norwich. Title page dated only 1812. Pages untrimmed, clean throughout with only very minor foxing here and there. 338 pages plus a single sheet of ads. New headbands. Overall nice a clean.
