Zwei Serien zu tot. 40 farb., teilw. mit Goldeffekten lithogr. Ansichtskarten (cpl.), verso mit Versand-Vordruck, in OLn.-Faltmäppchen mit farb. Deckeltitel. Sujets gelegentlich mit schwachen Verklebungsspuren (wenig gravierend). Gesamthaft sauberes, recht gutes Exemplar / Set of two series consisting of totally 40 original post cards in colours (lithogr.), in illustrated envelopment. Some traces of age, few of use, partially slight traces of surface-adhensions. Over all rather good and clean copy. - Uncommon original and complete collection of forty post cards in color lithography, showing prominent historical and war scenes from the early history of the United States of America up to the Declaration of Independence, portraits (politicians, generals, officers, red indian chiefs, ec.), buildings, flags ec., partly in gilt frames or with gilt decorations. Fine and attractive small reproductions, mostly from original 19th century paintings, but without mentioning their authors - with one exception: 4 uniform pictures 'Troops' (American, French Relief, British, Hessian Relief) by R. [Richard] Knötel. Völckers Verlag und Antiquariat in Frankfurt a. M. (gegr. Deutsche Buchdrucker. Bd. 4, 1907, p. 591). - Sprache: en.
