Bush contributed one of two Forewords, the other by The Rt. Rev. J. Richardson, D.D. Both are a few paragraphs in length and together comprise one page. An excerpt from Mr. Bush's Foreword appears on the rear cover and is attributed to "The Honorable George W. Bush" instead of George H.W. Bush. Long-time Houston minister, James Thomas Bagby (1911-1998), reflects on his life and ministry. Bagby was a founding rector of St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas in 1952, where the Bushes were long-time members and where both had their funeral services in 2018, Mr. Bush's following a national service in Washington, D.C. A signed greeting card from the Bagbys is laid in. 76 pages with black and white photographs, including a photo before the Foreword of Vice President Bush with the Bagbys and a photo at the end of the book of Tom Bagby and Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office at the White House.
