Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Grider, Dorothy (illustrator). 1st Edition. No other printing noted; assumed First. DJ price is $1.95 in line with a print date of 1960's. Interior pages are clean with NO creases, writing or tears. Not an ex-lib. Illustrated end papers are bright, clean and unmarred. Light shadow of tape can be noted on two pages but there is no tear. Binding firm. Red textured paper boards are bright and clean. Embossed title and illustration is complete and unmarred. Covers have light shelf wear on edges. DJ is still colorful with shelf wear, closed tears and light soiling along edges and folds. One closed tear on front was repaired and tape is yellowing now. DJ is has one corner clipped; top front corner shows price of $1.95. DJ is protected in a mylar jacket.
