(19 Volumes Complete) Three quarter leather and linen. Gilt top edges. Gilt border lines on edges of leather. Gilt outlined boxes between raised bands on spine and gilt titles. Some scuffs and bumps to leather, one volume shows signs of cat damage, i.e. small holes and scratches on boards. Hinges are all excellent. Leather has been taken care of and is still supple. This set has been in the same family since it was new. Volume 1: Sketches by Boz, 1906, 40 illustrations by Cruikshank. Volume 2: Pickwick Papers, no date, 43 illustrations by Seymour and Phiz.
