The pastedowns, free endpapers and several preliminary leaves lightly spotted, and the whole slightly bowed. A nice bright copy of a handsome and quite scarce production. Hinges repaired, but a very good copy of the larger version of these stories. Rubbed and bumped and little scratches, but a very presentable copy of an uncommon title with a few brown marks in the text. Katherine Cameron was the sister of etcher Sir D. Y. Cameron Large 8vo.

Golden endpages have small stains where the cloth has ghosted. Signed by the illustrator to the reverse of the frontispiece. Colour frontispiece, one of thirty illustrations by Katharine Cameron. Textblock is well held, but has a few grubby marks associated with use. Ribbon page marker has unravelled; it is still attached but not really functional. 211 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
