Undated but the design dates it to circa 1914-18. An early example of Nelson's Library series. Corners bumped, binding cracked at front. 479pp plus a page of publisher's catalogue. Much less common in this binding. This was the second of Conrad's collaborations with Ford.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Charles R. Macauley (illustrator). Third impression. States "Special Edition" on the spine. Blue cloth with gilt spine lettering and decoration. Top edge gilt. Fore and bottom edges untrimmed. A few leaves are unopened. The bottom edges of the boards are bumped. Otherwise fine in a square, sound binding with hinges intact. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
