Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Not dated - believed to be mid 1950s. Edition and impression not known. In very good beige/blue linen-effect cloth boards, black titles to back strip. The covers are tight and unmarked; corners bumped and frayed. Clean end papers; cut edges slightly tanned. Tightly bound book block, with many b/w photos, figures and some colour plates, clean and bright. No dedications etc. Without jacket.

Dust Jacket- minor shelf rubbing to tail of spine and a little light general shelf soiling but exceptionally clean and complete for year thanks to the previous owner's care in preserving.
