Gilt stamped title of birds on spine has faded, but is still legible. Sight foxing to end papers and paste downs. Dust jacket is in near fine condition save being price clipped, as well as the bottom corner of front flap being clipped. Max Evans worked in Hollywood in the film industry and served as a soldier as well as becoming a prolific nature writer.
