A very scarce work, with none on Copac or Worldcat. Signed by the author, Frank Romer, to the head of the title page. 'The Rhine Boat', a poem put to music with the score included in this work. Written by Mark Lemon. Lemon was the founding editor of 'The Punch' and 'The Field'. He was an acclaimed playwright, with more than sixty of his productions being put on in London. Music compiled by Frank Romer. Romer is known for being a musical composer and a member of a publishing firm. In a quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, though with some loss to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Three inch tear to the rear board to the fore edge. Some marks to the boards, heavier to the rear board. Light wear to the extremities. Loss to the front endpaper. Internally, binding is a little strained. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with the odd spot. Good. signed by author. book.

First edition, number 427 of only 500 copies of this complete collection of seven prints commemorating milestones in aviation, each signed by the pilot. Very rare thus. All prints fresh and attractive, each in a colored metal frame. A stunning set. Each print approximately 16 x 13.5 inches visible (each print is matted, framed, and glazed in frames of various colors). Each print bears the Currier Press embossed stamp. Prints are bright and fine (very minor marginal creasing and a small closed marginal tear to the Wright print, not affecting image). Previously sold by Baumann Books and coming with their descriptive sheet. Also included is the plain brown portfolio that originally housed the prints. Please note that this set is very heavy in the metal frames.
