In his letter to the barrister and literary scholar George Thorn-Drury, Herbert Francis Brett-Smith thanks Thorn-Drury for a copy of More allusions and offers the present volume in return. In the publisher's original hard back binding, found in the unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, generally smart. Very lightly rubbed to the boards, with some light bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Missing a little wrap to the head of the spine, with a centimetre-long tear in the wrap at the front joint. Internally, firmly bound, with bright and clean pages throughout. Good. book.
