Softcover. Condition: Very Good+. Unstated edition. [modest bumping to upper right corner, otherwise a nice clean copy with only minor wear]. Drama about a socialite going blind, the basis for the 1939 Warner Bros. film of the same name, that provided Bette Davis with one of her most notable star turns. Originally copyrighted in 1932 under the title "In Time's Course," the play was first presented on Broadway (under the "Dark Victory" title) in the Fall of 1934, with Tallulah Bankhead in the lead; it had an unspectacular run of 51 performances. The text presented here is described as a "revised" version of that play, which includes some added characters; I suspect its issuance in the same year as the film was not entirely coincidental.
