First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Scott, Lloyd (maps) (illustrator). 1st Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Full taupe cloth. 262 pp., [8] pp. B&W illustrations. Five decorative maps. Light rubbing to spine ends and corners. Slight bumping to upper corners of first 50 or so pages of text block. For over three hundred years this place that we call Toronto has been thought of, mapped, visited, occupied, fought over, forgotten, and repossessed. It has been in succession a First Nations village, an English colonial court, struggling frontier town, a factious political area, and an ever faster-growing city whose destiny is impossible to predict.

Vintage reference photograph from the 1943 film. During World War II, American sailors in the Atlantic are trying to get their oil tanker to allied Russians, but they are sunk by a German U-boat. After being rescued, they try once again to make it to the Russians, while dodging more U-boats and aerial bombs. Set in the Atlantic Ocean, shot on location in Santa Barbara, California. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good, with one tear at the middle left edge of the photograph and some wear to the finish and creasing. Comic
Condition: New. . . .
