Seller: Riverby Books, Fredericksburg, VA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover. Vellum spine and corners, speckled and stained from age. Cream colored cloth over the boards. 177 pages. A limited edition of 550 copies. Printed in San Francisco at the printing shop of the E.D. Taylor Company. Printed on good quality paper, but with some foxing throughout now. On the title page, the name "Joseph A. Sadony - Private" is embossed across the top of the page. Sadony was a writer and spiritual speaker as well as something of a mystic. This book is from his personal collection. There is a single sheet of paper tucked inside, filled with handwritten notes -- a handwritten version of "After Petrarch" and "On Pierre Rostand's Book of Love," both poems by de Heredia. The manuscript page is unsigned, so it's not clear whether it's in Sadony's hand or not.
