No date (c 1928). 192pp, colour frontis: The Flying Scotsman, four coloured plates, 8pp of photogravure plates (one has some foxing in the margin), text-ills. Previous owner's gift notation dated 1931. Pictorial front board, illustrated lilac-coloured cloth spine and rear cover in RARE dust-jacket which is worn at the front flap fold with minor loss at corners but lacks a section 15 x 40mm, including the word Collins' of the title, at the spine head. The book includes a sketch of the early stage coach days from Charles Dickens' Sketches by Boz.
