The plain paper DW shows a bit of minor rubbing,minor edgewear and several closed tears. Hyman includes an introduction and Allen Tate wries a short memoir of Troy. This copy also includes a newspaper clipping covering the National Book Awards of 1968,needed to do some math to figure that out with no dates to work with. The clipping notes that Troy's Selected Essays was the winner for Arts and Letters. There is also a black and white photograph of Troy with some notations on the back by a former student. Book.
