Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Cherry Kearton (illustrator). 1st Edition. This 7-5/16" tall red first edition HC w/o DJ is in good cond. Corners and spine ends are heavily bumped and worn. Red faux leather covering boards has worn off the corners, exposing the cloth. Real leather spine covering is missing 1/4" top and bottom; what remains in well worn with cuts and scratches. Gilt spine titles are worn but legible. Book is ex-lib. with the usual markings. RFEP has a 5" closed tear. Book is otherwise VG; all pages present, tightly bound, legible and most are quite clean although more than several are soiled and/or have tears. Hinges are fine.
