Book First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Light overall wear; three or four text passages sidemarked. Inscribed across from half-title page, in the month after publication: "March 7, 1967/ To Dave Martin:/ With friendship and affection/Frank Kluckhohn/ Jay Franklin." Both signatures appear to be in the same hand, so I assume Kluckhohn wrote the whole thing. The authors were longtime New York Times journalists who went on to work for the White House. Pearson was, of course, the most feared muckraking journalist of his age, along with partner Jack Anderson. Uncommon signed. 181 pages. Inscribed by Author(s).
