Date of publication written in pencil on the spine. Stains to bottom edge of text block. Extensive notes written on both sides of the front free endpaper. Book plate on front pastedown has some staining. Tiny stain to title page. Underlining and margin notes in ink and pencil for about the first 100 pages. One page is stained from newspaper clipping previously laid in. The dust jacket has been reinforced along the top and bottom edges but there is still some wear and rubbing along the edges and to both panels. The spine title has faded. Front flap is price clipped affecting title. A work intended to allow businessman to gain an understanding of atomic energy and its applications in industry. Illustrated with black and white photos and diagrams. Bookplate of Walter Ernest Telfer on the front pastedown endpaper.
