Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Her Privates We', is a profoundly democratic book. It is significant that so high a tribute should be paid by a man intellectually mature, acutely observant and deeply critical , to the sound sense, morale and philosophy of that section of the populace which, in peace as in war, has most of civilisation's dirty work to do. The boards and binding are square and tight, the text block has light marks on the fore-edge. book price includes 2nd class post in UK only.

Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing. With original glassine jacket and cardboard inserts which are both loose within the book - the jacket is a bit worn/creased and the front/back insets are not also loose and are a bit worn/creased and a little marked with glue residue to back where they were attached to the jacket. They could be re-attached to the jacket with some repair - I have not attempted to do this. Brown boards with black lettering to spine and front and design in black to front are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, minor browning to spine, the odd very small mark and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Some spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages have the odd small mark/scratch/bump. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
