Decorative Cloth. Condition: Fine. No Jacket. Frank T. Merrill (illustrator). This story, written for older children, is an everyday story about real boys and their friends. The preface of this second edition written five years later, remarks on what the boys were doing at this later period in their lives. This book contains 318 pages with six full page black and white illustrations. A few of the pages are slightly soiled but remain clean of any inscriptions. The binding is tight and the decorative cloth cover shows very little wear. It is stamped with a scene of children ice skating on a lake in shades of brown. The backstrip is slightly faded but the title and author remain legible. There is some light soil on the back cover.
