The book that popularized the "aquatic ape hypothesis" of human evolution, that humans' ancestors dwelt by the waterside rather than the savanna, which was first proposed by Sir Alister Hardy. The author defended the idea against widespread criticism and indifference until her death in 2013. Signed copies are quite rare.
