Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Indexed. Gilt titles and top edges. Private library bookplates inside front pastedowns. Frontispiece. 38 plates in Vol II. Age toned covers with bumped corners. Age yellowed pages. Date notation on ffep's. Vol. II has 3/4" outside tear on cover at top of spine.
Hardcover. Dark blue cloth with gilt lettering. Vol. 1 - 416 pp.; Vol. 2 - 458 pp. Each volume is very well illustrated. VG, slight soiling but overall clean and tight with one bookplate inside front cover of each volume and small sticker on each spine; one rear hinge split.
