This magazine went through three different periods, in which it kept its name, but its direction and graphic design changed, due to the institutional changes suffered by the Institute. The first stage, between 1959 and 1966, was published under the direction of Alfredo de la Guardia on a quarterly basis. It included articles on history and theater theory, as well as information on the activities carried out by the INET and on the theatrical activity of its time. After four years without being published, it goes through a second stage of editions spaced between 1970 and 1972. It returns to circulation between 1986 and 1987 with the direction of Osvaldo Calatayud. The first issue of this stage, #13 is totally dedicated to the celebration of the centenary of the premiere of the play Juan Moreira, and #14 and last to the Efermerides of the National Theater.
