Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. This Dover edition, first published in 1988, is a corrected and slightly revised republication of the work originally published by the National Marine Fisheries Service (see NOAA technical report NMFS circular 444), with a new forward by Victor Scheffer. Exterior is moderately bumped at corners with minor use-wear along edges. Exterior is clean and bright. Interior pages are also bumped at corners but otherwise very clean and tightly bound. Highly useful as field guide. All 563 photographs, 17 tables, b/w drawings and tables are well preserved.
