Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 134p. An oblong, oversize hardcover book in POOR CONDITION. Boards stained, edges heavily rubbed, and photo on front cover is chipped. Lots of WWI-related photos and newspaper clippings pasted to front and back endpapers. Many pages are torn and have been repaired with tape, which has yellowed with age. It appears that some pages may have been torn out in the back. Binding is a bit shaken, but holds well enough for normal handling. OFFERED AS-IS. A stunning collection of captioned black and white photographs depicting the leaders, military technology, and devastation of World War I during its first year. Measures approx. 16.7" long x 12" tall.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. No edition / printing stated--1917 copyright. G- oversize hardcover (approx 12" tall x 16.5") in NO dj (if issued). Paper-covered boards with a pasted photo illustration on the upper board, and quarter bound in cloth. Cover illustration is scratched and the board edges are rubbed with exposed corners. Upper board also has a touch of bowing. Penciled pricing notes (from 1987) on the inside cover; "5" in black marker on the ffep. Remaining photographic contents are clean and securely bound with the exception of an occasional handling smudge in a margin. Further, the last photo page does have a closed bottom margin tear. NOT an ex-library copy!.
