Quarter-bound dark tan leather on beige cloth boards, titled in gold on the spine. Features beautiful swirling watercolors by Cartier-Bresson. The three woodblock prints, including frontispiece, were achieved by Keiji Shinohara, using as many as thirty blocks to capture the color variations of the original paintings. They are printed on imported hand-milled Japanese paper. The text was hand-set by Dan Carr and Julia Ferrari and printed on roughly uncut, handmade Japanese paper called Tosa Hanga. The French text is interlined (inserted after) each line of English, using 24-point Perpetua type for the English and 14-point Gill Sans Light for the French. No pagination. Laid inside a lined clamshell box, covered in beige cloth, with a dark tan leather label, titled in gold, on the spine. Book and box in FINE condition.
