Product Description:Trobridge Inn is an exciting adventure module that brings players to a frontier outpost and involves them in intrigue and terror. Diplomacy and strength are essential skills for survival. The site is a fortified inn and key layover for caravans on the main trail between eastern and western Hârn. The inn lies on the western edge of Chelmarch, a vast territory claimed by the Kingdom of Kaldor, but controlled by the warlike Chelni barbarians. The Thardic Senate also covets Trobridge. Trobridge is controlled by two rival factions. Terlin Wesindan holds the inn and employs mercenaries to oppose Kurson Ondailis, a warlord who exacts tribute from locals and caravans. Into this volatile situation arrive two official embassies, a herald from Kaldor and a seductive priestess from Tharda. They have come to see if Kurson Ondailis is strong enough to control Trobridge. Complicating matters, a mad priest appears with summoned Vlasta, and warring barbarian tribes may destroy Trobridge.

Hardcover. Condition: New. Richard Luschek (illustrator). Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Product Description:Rethem is a fractious feudal kingdom on the western coast of Hârn. The kingdom's politics are dominated by the "black-souled and evil" churches of Agrik and Morgath. The threat of warfare between religious orders compounds the danger posed by rivalries between feudal lords. The political situation is far from settled and the threat of civil war looms over the kingdom. Rethem is bounded by the Kingdom of Kanday to the south, the Peran wilderness to the north, and the Thardic Republic to the east. With a long history of violence, a rulership built on cunning and strength, and a shaky political structure, Rethem is viewed warily by its neighbors.King Chafin III's precarious rule relies on a network of allegiances created by the careful placement of kin and the manipulation of competing loyalties that he may not fully command. Chafin often uses the threat of invasion to keep his rivals off guard. Five of Rethem's seven monarchs have died violently, and Chafin prefers his castle at Shostim to the royal castle in Golotha. The kingdom's largest settlement, Golotha sits at the mouth of the region's main trade artery, the Thard River. The Thard valley has long been one of the most densely populated regions of Hârn and boasts the strongest economy in the west. The river brings goods from the east, while Golotha is a major trade center for whale oil and other riches of the sea. The kingdom's northern forests are rich in timber, furs, and mineral wealth. The Kingdom of Rethem module is supplemented by other Columbia Games publications, including keeps, castles, and adventure sites, and provides a variety of opportunities for adventure.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Product Description:Kaldor is a land-locked feudal kingdom in eastern Hârn. Since its founding more than 500 years ago, external threats have been minimal but internal strife has been common. The current dynasty, Clan Elendsa, has sought to uphold the traditional principles of feudalism, chivalry, and royal justice. King Miginath Elendsa is popular with the common people because he has kept the kingdom prosperous and at peace.King Miginath is in poor health and has never married, leaving the succession a matter of contention between three bastard sons and a score of nieces and nephews. Intermarriage with other noble clans and the granting of royal offices in exchange for concessions has created a complicated web of alliances that may discourage a civil war when the king dies. While he lives, the factions plot and scheme for advantages.Much of the land claimed by Kaldor is controlled by tribal nations, some peaceful, others decidedly less so. The kingdom maintains two standing armies on the marches, but relations with the tribes are not always warlike. A few hardy miners, trappers, and explorers venture in the wilderness, and tribesmen are a common sight in border settlements. The capital, Tashal, is an important economic hub. Caravans converge here from all corners of Hârn: from Orbaal down the Fur Road, from Azadmere along the Silver Way, from Thay and the Lythian continent via the Genin Trail, and from western Hârn by the Salt Route. The Kingdom of Kaldor module is supplemented by other Columbia Games publications, including keeps, castles, and adventure sites, and provides a variety of opportunities for adventure.
