The first edition had appeared in 1986, in Lisbon, published by Nova Realidade. It is rare (no copy located in Porbase; one copy located in OCLC, at British Library). This second edition, judging from the preface, is very different from the first. Included are "depoimentos" by five "Capitães de Abril", including Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho, and contributions of poems by 73 poets, among them José Afonso, Álamo Oliveira, Alberto Pimenta, Amadeu Baptista, António Ramos Rosa, Armindo Rodrigues, Casimiro de Brito, Egito Gonçalves, Eugénio de Andrade, Hélia Correia, Henrique Madeira, J.H.
