It appears that all copies were distributed without charge to legislators, historical societies and libraries. Dedicated and signed (in pencil) by Frederick Cook on f.f.e. Sm. 4to; xv, (1) & 579 pp., errata p., 4 port. plates, 6 maps in text (some folding), 5 maps in pockets both inside front and rear cover. Hinges cracker, f.f.e. with dedication detached, map pockets somewhat soiled, a few quite short edge tears to maps with one longer tear to one of the folding maps (but not affecting the printed portion). Spine rubbed with spine lettering tarnished, spine ends and corners worn. Good plus copy but internally near fine. Contains many journals from the officers under Sullivan's command along with Sullivan's final report. Also contains some account of Col.
